More sad news. Greg passed away last week. Most of you never met Greg as he spent most of his adult life in Alaska. He was the oldest son of Aunt Lu and Uncle Fred. Lu, who died last year, was Mom's sister Greg had prostate cancer which had quickly spread to the liver.. Another reminder to live each day like it was your last and treat other people as if it were their last as well.

It has been a long two days and my arms are now even longer. Started the road pruning yesterday with a chain saw , super size hedge trimmer and my trusty backhoe operator. I never seem to get started early enough and by about noon I cant see for the salt in my eyes. That may be a good thing since there is lots of poison oak. We got him hooked up to the web but- The colors are white text on a light grat background. basically unreadable. There is no log in button. It scrolls really slow inwaves and the text is wider than the screen so you have to scroll that way too. AAughhh! The bolgs were there but it said bad words when I tried to comment. The photos camse up although they would not come up as individual pics. As is its pretty much useless unless there are some adjustments I can make from here. End of day

What I want to know is how I can post to this board practically 24-7 and still be way behind Little Miss Big Ant Britches? Along with the ability to delete messages , how about not showing as new any messages or comments that the poster posts since they generally are awake enough to read it when they posted it. But if the poster is semi potted when he posts his posts then the potted posts may be patiently posted. We just don't want to patronize potted posters permanently.

I know your lurking out there somewhere. Now go up to the top where it says [Log in] and put in your ID and password and check mark the box that says remember. Your password and ID will be in an email from Jeff. Once you are logged in go to the [Start new Blog] button and click. That will open a box to type your blog. Just type Hi and we will all cheer then you can type the rest of your message and hit the submit button at the bottom of the page.

This morning Peggy had to log in twice because the 1st time it used my name. When she then logged out and back in it was Ok. The same happened to me just now. It seems to like the last person who logged in.

It's currently 68 degrees in the house this morning but its still foggy and overcast. It's supposed to burn off and be in the high eighties so we will see. Jeff , This is the Gateway computer that we added the second HD from the old computer. It is split into 4 sectors and the Gateway HD has only one. Is there any way of telling which one generated the error message. I was able to burn a cd with her church quicken info but am not sure how to install on mine. There were old bank accounts there along with the current church acct. I don't want to overwrite the current info on my computer with old stuff from hers. I'm hoping that since I copied a...

We were reading blogs last nite and Peggy suggested that there should be a way of deleting messages that we didn't want to save. It would have to be on a personal basis, but it can be hard to find what you want (especially comments) as the amount of posting grows. Also, what about typying in our own key word to do a search? I was looking for a Lisa post on the weather but Humature was all that came up. Any way something to think about.

Sorry this is so delayed but Aunt Norma (Norma & Jim McCurdy) died a week ago last Thursday in a Seattle hospital. I don't know the exact cause but she had become delusional and slipped into a coma. Uncle Jim is Mom's brother. There will be no service but they will have a brief family and friends get together July 29. I believe in Everett Wa. Mom has the details. All for now. Good nite
