    • Jeff, I think I found another ornery little critter. When I logged on tonight There were two new clogs showing."Lisa's story" and"Wow" . I'm still assuming that the default is for all new blogs. When I used Tag clouds for a seven day search there were several more new listings.

    • Jeff, Can you program so we can all add to Lisa's story clog without using comments Only restriction should be that you can't edit another posters part of the story. Maybe another button for stories separate from clogs since they could be very long. Create, create, create

    • Bug busters report : The old unread posts continue to be a problem for new readers particulaly with the New Post default. Is there some way of clicking on the old ones without having to open each one to get it off the new list. I realize this is not a true bug just an annoyance which will go away as time scrolls on.I posted a comment to HD, s"New Posts" blog of 8-21 and when I went back to the blogs it didn't show as new.The time and date of your last blog were out of sync as it said 9pm of...

    • Tried a keyword search on bugs and it brought up way too many to stop and reread. Whether that is a bug in its self I don't know. Bug #1 Cloud tags will not stay on setting of days selected. Have to reset each day

    • Jeff, It's sometimes hard to know what things you are working on and what we should report. Maybe a sticky where we could all comment so we don't all rerport the same thing and you start feeling harrassed. If a bug is not fixed in a day or two then I have a hard time finding where I posted. Also if you are going to be affecting the normal use when you are working, it would be helpful to post an admin message. Otherwise the dialup people spend a lot of time trying different things, logging...

    • Jeff, The clouds are not keeping my setting of 14 days . Wanted to suggest an ability to drag and expand the blog window as it currently doesn't go to the bottom of my screen. It would save scrolling down as often Yes, while the cricket is in a much higher evolved state, we grasshoppers are still just plain lazy. Ya, just have to humor us

    • Today before breakfast, there was a discussion about going to town. Did I want to go ? I inquired as to the purpose of the trip and was told just regular groceries and possibly some school shoes and haircut for Violet. When I made some comment about picking out shoes sounds kind of boring, I was told very clearly the following:" Grampa, your just like Arnold." Now you have to be a Magic School Bus fan to appreciate the true meaning of being like Arnold, but you probably get the drift...

    • Check out comment #493 One more added to the list of cloggers. OK, Grandpa P your turn to show'em your stuff!!

    • I was beginning to think Richard was the only one, on the West Coast, that could sign in until I read a comment, dated Aug 10, by Lisa. I still can't sign in using my name. Wed. evening Grandma Anne called, saying she couldn't get on the site. She just keeps getting an error message. Richard told her he would e-mail her when things were working again. She's planning to come see us on the 21st. I will be leaving in about 2 hours to meet Suzie in Eugene. We met 25 years ago (last Feb) and she...

    • We interrupt this program to bring you breaking news. Computers linked to the Todnem Family Clog are staging a major protest. Peggy T has reported today that she can no longer log on under her name. When she tries it logs her in under some other bozo's name. And now this morning it gave her a blatant ERROR message.(how rude) and she couldn't login at all. Richard T tried logging in as Grandpa P and while confusing it accepted the name and password but it still showed logged in as RT, very...

    • Jeff, Performance seems about the same to me but it would probably take something really radical to move us up from slow to slowly. Was wondering how a word qualifies as a key word? If you don't need clouds, tags can they be not shown as opposed to minimized? At one point they were gone and then showed up when I started a search. Now they seem to be present all the time even when minimized. If people are using the return to blog button rather than backspace you might consider adding the same...

    • The 8th wonder of the world has been accomplished. Grandpa P is now clogging. At least reading clogs at this point. We may have to harrass him a bit to get the typing going but that's another day.

    • Jeff, Here is some info that may tell you if we have a problem. The Firefox browser is 4.88meg We are down loading to the desktop starting at 3.4kb/sec and within 2 min. were down to 1.7kb/sec where it seems to stay. Basically they say 1 hr and 21 minutes to go. That was the same this morning. When we tell it to exc it gives error message 718. I should recheck on the exact # if it is helpful. When we go to the Todnem site it takes 2-3 times as long to load and use as home. I didn't time it...

    • Did some searching with dog pile and found several ancestry info sites the link is a picture of Roger Todnem in Norway. I transfered the url into the 'insert image box and then it went away. Where I don't know. His web site is www.todnem.net. In some of the other information sites they have social security and death records. Diane, Grandpa Willard, Great Grandparents Lawrence and Annie and several of his brothers from South Dakota are listed. Another one showed Dave, Willard, and Lawrence...

    • We will be at least temporarily on line tomorrow. The package arrived today. I will help him set it up when we get back from the building delivery. Hard to believe isn't it. Me helping someone else with a COMPUTER????

    • I am currently dialed up at a smokin 40kbps. I think they just put up those numbers to make us feel better. Anyway, it took 30 revolutions of the little spinner up in the RH corner to go from a comment back to the main pg. and about 24 to open this page. All in all it does seem to be slowing although in a slug race its hard to tell. I do use the back button normally which is much faster. Also tried the variations on ID and passwd. It properly thru me out. Keep up the great work but take a...

    • It is working really well this Angel thing. We took a building into Coos Bay today and had gone thru about 7 green lites in a row when I was reminded of HD's Angel blog. After dropping off the building we went to Sizzlers for dinner and were able not only to pull out of the parking lot without traffic but get all the way over into the left turn lane just in time to watch it turn green and the next 2 lites as well. Now here's the interesting part. That last light was green for a long long...
