      Kadie was complaining that her legs hurt yesterday evening and she had a very restless night where I spent a good portion of it rubbing her legs and back. I figured it was just growing pains as she has suffered from those before.       Well, I got my new car. My logical side is kicking my rear for not going more economical (read: another hybrid), but I try to keep telling myself that, if I really wanted to save money, I'd buy a base model Yaris w/ no extras. It's a Glacier Blue Honda CR-V - it's small-ish but has a lot more cargo space (in my Camry, I couldn't visit WalMart, BJs, and the grocery store all at once - so, technically, I'm saving on fuel costs by not having to make two trips).       We had a very nice Christmas this year. Jeff and I got to sleep in until 7 when Kadie woke up. Her excited squeals while opening her stocking downstairs, accompanied by Jeff's desire to see it all, from beginning to end, got us up and started shortly thereafter.       I woke up yesterday morning with my left eye crusted shut, so I made an appointment to see the doctor. She kept ensuring me that it was viral pink eye rather than bacterial pink eye - as if that was a good thing. Personally, I'd prefer bacterial.
