Hi everyone,
Violet enjoyed her week of VBS (9am to 3pm) and now (half hour after she got home Friday) can't find anything to do!

Richard spent most of the last two days rigging black pipe on the roof so we could warm the water for the pool.  Now if we could only have some sun - that's been the problem, we have temps in the low 70's with clouds, so the air is nice, but the water is staying about 72 degrees.  When I was a kid in Alaska, I would have thought that was great, but now I'm older, colder, and hopefully wiser.  We can't complain, at least we aren't drowning or burning up.

Now we are looking forward to fair week.  I spent the morning at the VFW handing out tickets for a day of free rides. Each year the Lioness' sponsor a Bike-a-thon at the end of the school year.  Money pledged is used to buy enough ride bracelets for all the pre-school though high school kids in Powers.
