    Clog Story

    Jeff,
    Can you program so we can all add to Lisa's story clog without using comments Only restriction should be that you can't edit another posters part of the story.  Maybe another button for stories separate from clogs since they could be very long. Create, create, create

    Huh...I guess that I was thinking that we could each "edit" the clog...I did not think that we could not edit someone else's clog...hmmm...

    I copy/pasted your additions onto my clog, so if you just want to edit your comment to add further text, I can then copy/paste the updates!

    I can tell you guys, right off the bat, Jeff's not gonna give you all edit capabilities to other member's posts. And Lisa's clog is gonna get long if she keeps copying others and editing her own to include it all - the comments that she copies will still remain part of the clog unless the member who posted it deletes it quickly. (I don't know for sure, but I don't think it allows you to delete a comment if there's a comment attached to it - if someone else has already posted after you, you won't be able to completely delete your post - just the content of it.) Remember, Jeff's poor server has to house all our conversations, so we don't want to fill it up unnecessarily. I think, as long as everyone understands what's going on, it shouldn't hurt the continuity to read the story in separate posts.

    Just my thoughts as a mediator between the webmaster and his clients...
