    Helllooooooow Back at You

Posted by Richard on Sunday, September 03, 2006 @ 05:06 PM
I think maybe the east coast division has been washed away by Ernesto and are now bobbing around in their life boats.  On the other hand the web site is still up so the servers and battery pack may be bobbong along with them.
It has cooled down here today and is very pleasant.  So far we have 28 qts and 13 pints of peaches and we my be half way.  I'm doing my best to deplete the supply each time I walk thru the garage. [well almost every time] Nobody even thanks me for my efforts but it's a dirty job and----
At this point we have the mother of all swimming pool excavations and still digging.  Fortune cookies must be getting close.  Still trusting that the angels know what I want but the leap in faith seem more like the Grand Canyon which is what I seem to be creating.   Trust trust trust.  This is one of those situations where I start off with the general idea from the engineer and then the plan unfolds as I go.  The problem is that the more digging I do the more replacement fill is required.  The other given is I have to start with a solid base at the bottom and then start building back up.  It's a good thing the management team has experience.  Oh well, the compactor will be here next Friday.  Let the filling begin!

Okay, I think the East Coasters must have missed a blog or two.  I've seen multiple references to water trucks, compactors, etc.  Now you're talking big holes.  What in the world is going on over there anyway?

    Sincerely,
